Gen Temizer is committed to impactful community work. Through pro bono legal services and strategic investments, we believe in leveraging our legal expertise to support those in need. Collaborating with local and international partners, we endeavour to make a meaningful difference to the lives of the communities we serve.

Policies & Commitment

Commitment to upholding the rule of law; promotion of effective governance; and advancement of environmental and social objectives are at the heart of our practice. Our dedicated team actively engages in pro bono initiatives and social efforts that maximise our community impact.

We provide specialist legal support to NGOs and community projects and fund charitable organisations.

We also collaborate with clients to amplify their social impact.

ACTIONS

We provide pro bono legal advice to several non-profit organizations:

IMPACT 2030 Türkiye Etki Konseyi (Turkish Impact Council)
Yanındayız (We Are Standing by You Association)
SES (Equality and Solidarity Association), and
SPoD (Social Policy, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Studies Association).

In the aftermath of the February 2023 earthquake in Türkiye and Syria, which killed more than 53,000 people in Türkiye alone, we led various community investment and pro bono endeavours alongside other law firms. These initiatives extended vital aid to lawyers, law students, and other individuals affected by the disaster through provision of legal assistance and support. Furthermore, we have been instrumental in fostering solidarity efforts through the creation of information resources addressing the legal ramifications of the earthquake.

We actively contribute to initiatives led by PILnet, a global NGO that provides a network for lawyers to provide advice in the public interest, such as the Turkish parts of the Global Employment Guide and the Global Nonprofits Guide which aim to provide accessible legal expertise to NGOs worldwide.
