Gen Temizer acted as Turkish counsel to Royal Gold in connection with its acquisition of Sandstorm Gold and Horizon Copper, a combined transaction that reshapes Royal Gold’s global mining portfolio.

As part of the transaction structure, Royal Gold also acquired an indirect stake in the Hod Maden gold-copper project in Türkiye, one of the most significant undeveloped precious metals assets globally. Our team advised on the Turkish law considerations relating to Hod Maden, including project documentation and regulatory matters.
